Some typical guests' reviews:
"We stayed in the Wellington Hotel for just three days, the most important thing to us was the location and being just 2 blocks from Central park and about 4 to Time square we rated this as excellent. Also at the side of the hotel there is a Metro station. The room was adequate. My one complaint is no Kettle, although there was a kitchette."
"Ideal central location."
"Awesome location right in the centre of the city. Great cafe located next door. Reception were friendly."
"I absolutely loved the Hotel. I came to NYC by myself and had no problems getting back to my hotel at night after a Broadway show due to the close proximity of the hotel to Times Square. I will definitely be choosing to stay there again. Fantastic!"
"WELLINGTON HOTEL, fantastic location for the subway (on N,W,Q, and R lines), nearby cafes etc. and it is lovely having central park so close. Feels quite safe around this area (uppermidtown). No mistake, this is an older style hotel, room was quite dated and a bit dark. But beds are comfy and the shower is good. If you want something basic and clean, (don't mind it being a bit older) with good access to the BEAUTIFUL city of new york, then go for it!"
"An excellent stay in the centre of New York. A great place to be starting your visit from as it near to everything that you will want to see."
