"From the initial greeting, we were made to feel very welcome. During our long weekend, the rooms were kept clean with fresh towels, and breakfast a good start to each day. The staff's flexibility on booking out, also really, as with a late night flight, they allowed us to store our luggage. We will be using this hotel again!"
"Everything was just OK for a two stars hotel."

Some typical guests' reviews:
"We were very pleasantly surprised. A lovely hotel with delightful staff and clean, stylish rooms. The breakfast was fabulous! I won't hesitate to recommend the hotel."
"Very nice little hotel, "up to date" : the room was brand-new, clean, and with an excellent rate quality/price for Berlin. The breakfast was excellent, and the welcoming was perfect (with a person who speak french !)."
"We really liked this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, modern, well appointed, warm and spotless. The hotel had the feel of a group of apartments with shared public areas. Fine for independant travellers. Breakfast was lovely. The surrounding area was quite industrial but felt safe and the hotel was so peaceful and pleasant to be in that this did not spoil our enjoyment of the trip. The nearest S bhan and U bhan stations are a little under 5 mins walk and so all of Berlin can be easily reached. You can see some of the domes of museum island from the hotel so although it is right on the edge of Mitte it is close to central Berlin. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely use it again."
"Quite simply The Hotel Alameda is the best hotel my wife and I have stayed in in Europe and we have stayed in quite a lot. A 2 star hotel but is worth 5."
"A really nice hotel. In a perfect place in the city. We liked the stay very much and will recommend the hotel and your site to others."
"It is was a great hotel. The only thing is that the hotel is only on the 5th floor. The rest of the building is office rooms so it was a little hard to figure things out when we first got there. Maybe that could be clearer in the description. Other than that the rooms were great and they had beautiful artwork in the hallways. It was very nice."
"The property looked just how it was shown on your website which is usually not the case! It was really clean, comfortable and quiet. The only drawback is that you have a little walk for places to eat in the evening but this is only a approx. 10 minute walk. Otherwise though nice place to stay and reasonable value."
"The hotel is clean, welcoming and very original, almost like living in a beautiful apartment in the centre of Berlin."
"The hotel is operated efficiently."
"I was pleasently suprised by the hotel and was really impressed. I would not hesitate to either revisit ot recommend this hotel to anyone."
"The hotel was refreshingly different - only 17 rooms, and it was very quiet. We shared a small balcony with another room in which our friends were staying and, although the view wasn't great, it was fun to meet up for a drink on the balcony before going out at night! The breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of choice and the breakfast room was extremely pleasant, with great artwork! The staff were extremely welcoming, but we felt like our privacy was protected, by having the staff leave at 8 each evening. It felt more like private appartments than an anonymous hotel! The rate was about £70 per night, which wasn't bad, but if it had been about £60 it would have been amazing value for money as well! In general a really pleasant stay, in a convenient location for all the Berlin sights, culture and the cool Prenzlauerberg and Kreuzberg areas!"

"Good quality vs. price ratio, good services. Easy to reach. It is worth to come back!"
"I am really happy with everything offered by the Hotel Generator, including the dinner. Convenient is also the hotel's location, easily reachable by car as well as by public transport: trains, buses, underground (metrò)."
"I would recommend The Generator Berlin to any budget traveller wanting to stay in Berlin. Although it is a few miles out of the city centre, the public transport system is easy to navigate and the S-Bahn stop is right next to the hotel. The hostel itself is brand new, and is very clean. It's very modern in style, with lots of blue neon lights and beaded plating everywhere, a style of decor that I liked immensely. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. The food is OK. The Generator Berlin has one major advantage over its sister hostel in London as far as I am concerned - the availability of en suite rooms for very little extra. Personally, I would definitely stay at The Generator Berlin again."
